Jamshed Spices

If you go down to the Main Market in Mawana and look around Mohalla Kalyan Singh, you’ll find Jamshed Spices. We’ve been here in this neighborhood for a long time. It’s a tight space with lots of shops squeezed together. We like it that way because there’s always someone to talk to. We deal with spices every day, and the smell of cumin and chili is just part of the building now. It’s a family-run kind of thing, nothing too formal. We don't wear uniforms or have big meetings. We just show up, check the stock, and start the day. The market is always loud and full of people looking for a deal. It's easy to fit in here. When the rains come, the streets get a bit messy, but the customers still come through. We don't have a website or a marketing person. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been in Mawana long enough that everyone knows where to find us. We keep our prices fair because we live here too and know the struggle. It’s a simple life. We pack the spices by hand mostly, and we make sure the bags are tied tight. It's honest work and it keeps us going. Being in the heart of the market means we never have a dull moment, and we wouldn't want it any other way.
