Global Public School

Global Public School is right here on Hastinpur Road in Mawana. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty busy with all the traffic coming through Meerut. We’ve been at A-10 for a while now. The building is just a normal brick place with some paint that’s seen better days, but it does the job. Most of the staff live nearby, so they walk or take a cycle in every morning. Usually, the gates open around 7:45 AM, and that’s when the noise starts. Kids come in from all the nearby streets and villages around Mawana. It’s not a fancy place with a big shiny lobby or anything like that. We have some desks that wobble a bit and the blackboards are well-used. During the summers, it gets quite hot, so the ceiling fans stay on all day long, making that steady clicking sound. There is a small area out back where everyone gathers for the morning assembly. We don't have a massive sports field, but the children find enough space to run around and play during the break. You can hear the teachers talking in the staff room between classes, mostly about the weather or what’s happening in town. It feels like a small community here because everyone knows everyone's parents. It is just a place where kids come to learn their lessons and get through the day without too much fuss or extra stuff.
