Agarwal Agro

Our business, Agarwal Agro, is located on Mal Godown Road. We are right in the Azad Market area of Kotkapura. If you are coming by train, we are actually quite close to the railway station. You can often hear the trains whistling and the engines idling from where we sit at the desk. Being on Mal Godown Road means there are always trucks and trolleys moving around, mostly filled with grain or other farm stuff. Since we are an agro business, we deal with a lot of farmers and people from the rural areas surrounding Kotkapura. The shop gets quite dusty because of all the bags and the movement in the market. It’s a very busy place, especially during the harvest seasons when everyone is in a hurry. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning; it’s just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of stock piled up. People come in to talk about their crops and what they need for the next season. It’s a straightforward kind of work. We’ve been here near the station for years, so we’ve seen the market change quite a bit over time. The noise is something you just get used to after a while. We keep things simple and try to help out the folks who come in as best as we can. It’s a busy, noisy, honest way to make a living in a market town like this. We usually shut down when the main market closes in the evening.
