D V Enterprises

D V Enterprises is situated right near the Railway Station on Railway Station Road in Doharighat, Mau. Being so close to the station means we hear the trains coming and going all day long. It is a bit of a noisy spot, but you get used to the whistling and the rumble after a week or two. The road outside is always busy with people carrying luggage or rickshaws trying to find a gap in the traffic. Our place is basically a hub for whatever needs doing that day. We keep the doors open to catch whatever breeze we can get from the street. The shelves are filled with various items we trade and sell, and there is usually a stack of ledgers on the main desk that needs updating. Doharighat is a place where everyone is moving, so we try to keep things efficient. We don't have any fancy displays or bright neon signs. It is just a solid building where we do our business every day from morning until the last train settles down. Sometimes the dust from the station road gets everywhere, so we are always wiping down the counters. It is a practical kind of life here in Mau. We know the station masters and the regulars who pass by our door every morning. It is just how things are on Railway Station Road and we like the rhythm of it.
