Sharma Dental Hospital

We are located in Ghosi, right near the State Bank. It’s a handy spot because everyone comes to the bank anyway. Mau is a place where word of mouth matters more than any advertisement. Most of our patients come in because their cousin or neighbor told them Dr. Sharma is okay. The building is simple and we keep it as clean as we can, though dust always finds its way in from the street. We have a small waiting room with a few plastic chairs. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to use the generator, which is loud and sits just outside the back door. It makes it hard to hear what the patients are saying sometimes. We deal with all kinds of dental problems, mostly just the usual stuff like cavities or pulling teeth that are too far gone. People from the surrounding villages come in early in the morning, sometimes even before we open. They sit on the steps and wait. We try to open up a bit early if we see them there. It’s a very local feel here. We don't have a fancy computer system. Everything is written down in big green registers. It’s a bit old school but it works for us. We just want to provide a service that people can afford and trust. There’s no big mystery to it, just regular dental work for regular people who live around this part of Uttar Pradesh.
