Ram Nagar Oilseeds Producer Company Limited is based out of Mau. We operate from the house of Anju Devi in Visaundhha. It's a small place but it serves as the main hub for our oilseed production activities. Since we are a producer company, it’s mostly about the farmers and what we can manage to grow and collect in this part of Uttar Pradesh. Mau is a place where agriculture is the main thing people do, so we are right in the middle of it. We don't have a big fancy building or lots of offices. It’s mostly just sitting down and figuring out the collection and distribution of seeds. Everyone around here knows each other, so the business is very local and grounded. We spend a lot of time talking to the growers and making sure the oilseeds are handled correctly. It's hard work and it depends a lot on the weather and the season. Sometimes things go slow, and other times we are swamped. Being at a local residence makes it feel more like a community effort than a stiff business. We try to keep our records straight and make sure the producers get what they need. There isn't much to say about the office itself since it's just a simple setup, but it gets the job done for the people living in Visaundhha. We just keep working away at it day by day.
