Rakesh Textiles Llp is a small place in Maunathbhanjan. We are located at Shop No. 2 in Sangam Gali, right by Sadar Chauk. The business was started by Prahlad Rai Agrawal and now his son runs it. It’s a tight little spot in a very narrow lane. If you’ve ever been to Sangam Gali, you know how crowded it gets with rickshaws and people carrying big bundles on their heads. Our shop is no different. It’s packed from floor to ceiling with textiles. We have been here at the 275101 pincode for many years. We don’t have fancy marketing or a big website. Most of our work is done through word of mouth and people just stopping by. The shop has a wooden counter that’s been worn smooth over the years. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who come into the Gali. It’s noisy and hot in the summer, but we have a couple of old fans that keep the air moving. We aren't trying to change the world. We are just trying to keep the family business going. It’s hard work and the hours are long, but it’s what we know. Being in the heart of Maunathbhanjan means we are always in the middle of the textile trade. It’s a simple, honest life for us here at Shop Number 2. We don't have time for fancy corporate talk, we just handle the fabric and the customers.
