We are over at 25 Madhuban Road here in Karrimuddinpur. It’s a busy spot in Ghosi Mau, and we’ve been at this specific address for quite some time now. Most days start pretty early because people travel in from nearby villages and they like to arrive before the sun gets too hot. The building isn't huge or anything, but we have enough space for the check-ups and a waiting area that usually has a few people sitting around. Most of us living nearby work here, so we know a lot of the faces that come through the door. It’s mostly just making sure people can see better or checking on their glasses. We spend a lot of time cleaning the equipment and helping folks fill out their forms because some of them find the paperwork a bit confusing. The weather gets really hot in the afternoons, so the waiting room is a good place to sit for a bit under the fan. Sometimes the traffic on Madhuban Road gets loud with the horns, but inside it stays mostly quiet and focused. We see everything from old folks with blurry vision to kids who are getting their first pair of spectacles. We don't have fancy lobbies or polished floors, just plain chairs and the tools we need to do the work. Everyone in the area knows where we are because of the sign out front. It’s just a regular, local place where we do our jobs every day.
