Arya Hospital

Arya Hospital is located near the T.B. Hospital at Teliya Chauraha on the Baipas. Being out on the bypass road means we have a bit more space than some of the hospitals in the middle of town. The building is a large, rectangular structure with a big parking area out front for ambulances and visitors. Inside, the layout is very straightforward. You walk into the main lobby and the reception is right there in front of you. We have long wards with rows of beds and also some private rooms for patients who need them. The walls are painted a light blue color that is supposed to be calming. We spend a lot of our time keeping the records updated and making sure the medicine cabinets are fully stocked. The fans on the ceiling are always spinning to keep the air moving. We have a small yard in the back where some of the staff go for a break. It is a very practical place. We don't have any big advertisements or flashy signs inside. We just focus on the day-to-day work of running a hospital. The staff knows how to handle things when it gets crowded, which happens quite often on market days. We get a lot of people coming in from the villages because we are easy to reach from the main road. It is a solid, reliable place for the community around Teliya Chauraha. We just keep at it, one patient at a time.
