Ajit Kirana Store

Ajit Kirana Store is located in the Purani Market area of Village Shadiabad. We are part of the Jakhanian Tehsil. Being in the old market means things are a bit traditional around here. The streets are narrow and there is always a lot of chatter from the other shopkeepers. We open early because that is when the village wakes up and starts its day. A kirana store is a busy place with a lot of small details to look after. We have bags of pulses, containers of oil, and all the usual things people need for their kitchens. It is not a sophisticated operation. We write things down in ledgers and we know most of our customers by their names. Shadiabad is a place where news travels fast, and our store is often a spot where people stop to talk for a minute. We don't have any interest in sounding like a big corporation. We are just local people running a shop in the market. Some days are long and tiring, especially when we have to restock the heavy items, but we are used to it by now. The Purani Market has been there for generations, and we are just glad to have our small space within it. We just keep our heads down and focus on serving the people who walk through our door every single day.
