Vrij Dhenu Dham Conservation Association

We are located in General Ganj, over by Mathura Cantt, specifically at Rajendra Nath Chaturvedi’s place. Our association is all about conservation, mostly focusing on things that matter to the local Vrij area. It’s a very traditional part of town, and we try to keep our operations in line with that. We don't have a modern office with glass walls or anything like that. Instead, it’s a more old-fashioned setup where people come to sit and talk about the environment and local animals. Mathura is a busy, spiritual place, and being near the Cantt means we get a mix of different people stopping by. We spend a lot of time discussing how to protect the local heritage and the natural surroundings. It’s slow work sometimes, and it requires a lot of patience. We don't have a big PR team to write our stories; we just tell people what we’re doing when they ask. Our records are kept in simple folders, and we rely a lot on the help of local volunteers who care about the dham. It gets hot in the summer, and the office can feel a bit cramped, but we don’t mind the heat much. We are just a group of people who care about Mathura and want to see its natural beauty preserved for the future. We take things one day at a time, without any corporate pressure or fancy titles to worry about.
