Sharma Cards

If you’re looking for us, we’re up on the first floor of Brij Complex, right at Shop No. 7. It’s a busy spot because the New Bus Stand is right there and Brijwasi Pantrun is just across the way. Sharma Cards has been in this complex for a good while. You have to walk up the stairs, and it can get a bit crowded on the landing when the bus station is full of people. We have samples of all sorts of cards everywhere—weddings, birthdays, you name it. The shelves are pretty packed. It’s not a shiny corporate showroom; it’s more of a working shop where we’re always counting out envelopes or checking spellings on proofs. We deal with a lot of families coming in to pick out designs. Sometimes it takes them hours to decide, and we just let them take their time. The noise from the buses outside is something we’ve just learned to ignore over the years. We do a lot of the printing right here or nearby. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, and we keep things pretty casual. We don't have a website that works right half the time, so most people just walk in. We like seeing the faces of the people we’re making cards for. It’s a lot of paper and ink and making sure the cutters are sharp enough to get the edges clean for every single invitation.
