Saurashtra Wellwish Foundation

Saurashtra Wellwish Foundation operates out of a spot near Ayodhya Chowk. We are actually located within the Synergy Hospital premises on Plot No. 7/8. It is right opposite the Gokul Mathura Apartments. Being in a hospital building means there is a lot of activity at all hours. You see doctors in their white coats and families waiting around in the lobby. Our office is a small section that we’ve set up. It’s very clean, as you would expect for a hospital environment. The smell of disinfectant is pretty much everywhere. It’s a bit of a maze to find us if you haven't been here before, but once you find the right corridor it is easy. We have some plain desks and a few filing cabinets. Ayodhya Chowk is a major intersection, so there is always a lot of traffic and noise outside the gates. We don't have much in the way of decoration, maybe just a calendar on the wall and some basic office supplies. It’s a functional space above all else. People come in and out for various reasons, and we try to keep things organized. The hospital canteen is where we usually grab a quick lunch. It’s a busy, clinical kind of atmosphere but we have our own little rhythm going. We’ve been at this plot for a while now and most of the hospital staff know us. It’s just a practical place for us to be based.
