S. R. I. Handwork India Private Limited

We've been operating out of Gaudhulipuram for a while now. If you know the area in Vrindavan, we are right near the big water tank. It's a busy spot but we like it here. S. R. I. Handwork India Private Limited is mostly about the manual work people do with their hands. There's a lot of tradition in Mathura and we try to keep that going in our own small way. My name is on the paperwork but really it’s the people sitting at the tables every day making things that matter. We started this because there was a need for steady work in the neighborhood. Some days are slow and others we can barely keep up with the orders coming in. The office isn't fancy, just some desks and space for the handwork. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most of the day is spent checking quality and making sure everything looks right before it goes out the door. It gets hot in the summer here in UP, but we have fans and keep moving. We’re at 137-138 and usually someone is around if you drop by. It’s not a big corporate setup, just a local place where things get made. We just do the work without making a big fuss about it. Just regular folks doing regular work every morning till evening. If you're walking around Gaudhulipuram, you'll see the water tank first, and we're just a stone's throw from there. It's a simple life.
