We are set up on the ground floor of the Lal Darwaja building. It’s right there at Gau Ghat in Mathura. Being near the river means we see a lot of people passing by every day. Our family has been involved with gold and jewelry for a long time. It’s a tradition that we just carried on from the older generation. The shop isn't huge, but it's where we do all our work. We spend most of our time at the counter talking to neighbors or helping someone pick out a small piece for a wedding or a gift. Mathura is a busy place, and Gau Ghat is always full of life and activity. We like the energy of the area. We don't use a lot of fancy lights or displays. We just put our items in the glass cases and let people look for themselves. If you need bullion or something specific, we usually have it in the back safe. It’s a straightforward business. We keep our books by hand mostly. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with the construction nearby, but we keep things clean enough for the customers. People trust us because we’ve been in the same building for years. They know they can find us on the ground floor without any trouble. We aren't trying to be a big chain store. We’re just a local jeweler doing things the old-fashioned way. It works for us and our customers who come to the Ghat.
