Lokhit Microcare Foundation

We're over here in Mohalla Mohammad Zai. It’s a busy little spot, mostly just neighbors walking by and kids playing in the street. Lokhit Microcare Foundation isn't some big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just us working out of this space. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, but we just wait it out or open the windows to get a bit of a breeze. People around here know where we are because we’ve been in this neighborhood for a while now. It’s not a place you’d find in a glossy magazine, and we don't really have a big sign out front that catches the eye. We just do our things day by day. Usually, someone is sitting at the front desk drinking tea while they sort through papers. It gets a bit dusty in the dry season, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the tables. We don’t have fancy uniforms either. Just regular clothes and a few ceiling fans that squeak a bit when they're on high. If you walk down the main lane in Mohalla Mohammad Zai, you'll probably see us near the old tree. It’s a simple setup. Most of the people who come by are just locals who need a hand with something or want to chat. We don’t have a lot of rules about how things look, just as long as the work gets finished eventually.
