Malcomprise Surgical Works

Malcomprise Surgical Works is tucked away in Laxmi Nagar. It’s a busy neighborhood, so there’s always something happening outside our windows. We do surgical work here, which basically means we handle a lot of tools and equipment used by doctors and clinics. The shop floor is usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or packaging materials because we’re always in the middle of a project. We’ve been in Laxmi Nagar for a while now, and most of the people working here live close by. It’s a bit cramped inside sometimes because we have so many different types of instruments, but we know where everything is. We don’t really go in for fancy talk or trying to impress anyone with big words. We just focus on making sure the tools are shaped right and the edges are how they should be. It’s precise work, even if the building itself looks a bit old. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish an order that’s needed urgently, but that’s just part of the business. We drink a lot of coffee and talk about the news while we work. It’s not the kind of place you’d see in a magazine, but it’s where we feel at home. We just keep our heads down and try to produce things that work the way they are supposed to when someone needs them for an operation. Most of us have been working together for a long time now.
