Jakal Colddrinks

We are located in Gonda, over in the Mathura Bazar area. The shop is quite close to the Vishnu Mandir, so it’s easy to find if you know the landmark. It’s a small operation here at Jakal Colddrinks. We keep a variety of bottles in the coolers. The market gets very crowded on festival days because of the temple nearby. I usually open the shutters early in the morning and stay until late evening. My younger brother helps me out during the busy hours. We don’t really do any big marketing; word of mouth in the bazar is enough for us. The building is old, but it stays relatively cool inside. We just focus on making sure the drinks are cold when someone asks for one. Sometimes the supply truck is late, and we have to wait around, but usually, things go okay. It’s a simple life running a shop in this part of town. We’ve known the neighbors for years. People come by after visiting the mandir to grab something to drink. We keep a few crates outside for people to sit on if they’re tired. It’s just a normal part of the local market. Nothing special, just us doing our daily work in Gonda. The ceiling fan makes a lot of noise but it helps with the heat. We also keep some snacks like chips if someone gets hungry while they are drinking.
