Jacobs Engineering India Pvt Ltd has a presence in Mathura, specifically within the IOCL Township. We are located at Qtr No 5 156 in the MR Nagar area. Being inside a township is a bit different from having a standalone office in the city. Everything is very structured and quiet here. Most of the people around us are also involved with the refinery or related industrial work, so there is a shared understanding of what we do. Our office is basically a modified quarter, which makes it feel very personal and less like a cold corporate space. We have our desks set up in the rooms, and there is a small area for files and equipment. The heat in Mathura can be quite intense during the summer months, but the township is full of trees which helps a bit. We spend our days coordinating on engineering tasks that support the local industry. It is not a place for flashy displays or big corporate events. We are just a group of people who know our way around technical specifications and safety standards. Most of us eat at the local mess or bring our own lunch from home. It is a very practical way to live and work. Being in Uttar Pradesh, we deal with the local rhythm of life, which is a bit slower than the big metros but just as busy in its own way. We just keep our heads down and focus on the engineering projects we are assigned.
