Ispat Iron Industry, Raipur, Chattishgarh

Even though we are connected to the industry in Raipur, our main contact point is here in Mathura. We are located at 56A, Jagannath Puri, which is quite close to the Krishna Janam Bhoomi. The office is actually care of Smt. Prem Lata Sharma, and Rajiv Sharma is the one you’ll usually find here handling things. It’s a very traditional neighborhood, and being near the Janam Bhoomi means there are always pilgrims and people around. Our workspace is quite modest. We focus on the iron industry side of things, even if we are a long way from the actual plants in Chhattisgarh. There’s a lot of coordination involved, mostly over the phone and through mail. We’ve been at this for a long time. The house is old but it works for what we need. We don't really do the whole corporate thing. We just sit at our desks, drink some water, and work through the ledger books. Sometimes it gets quite noisy outside with the temple bells and the crowds, but it’s a nice atmosphere to work in. We just handle the administrative side of the Raipur business from here. It’s straightforward work, and we prefer it that way. We don't have a fancy website or any of that. People usually find us through word of mouth or old contacts. It’s just how we’ve always operated and it keeps us busy enough.
