Ginni Filaments Ltd.

Ginni Filaments is located way out on the Delhi Mathura road, right around the 110-kilometer mark. It's a big place, and you can’t really miss it if you're driving toward Mathura. We are in the Hatha district area. It’s a factory setting, so it’s not exactly quiet or pretty. There’s always the sound of the machines running in the background, making filaments and whatever else is on the schedule for the day. We have people coming in for their shifts at all hours, so the gate is almost always busy. It’s dusty out here sometimes because of the road and the trucks moving in and out with supplies. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just make the products and get them onto the trailers. Most of us have been working here for years, and we know the quirks of the old machinery. The break room is where most of the talking happens, usually about the commute or the heat in the summer. It’s a long way from the city, so we have to be pretty self-reliant when something breaks down. We don’t do much advertising because the mill has been here long enough that people know where we are. It’s just a regular industrial job, keeping the production lines moving and making sure the quality is okay before the rolls get packed up. There isn't much glory in it, but the work is steady.
