Budhsen Laxmi Narayan

Down in Sarrafa Bazzar in Kosi Kalan, you will find our shop, Budhsen Laxmi Narayan. This bazaar is a very old place, and it gets incredibly crowded on market days. Our building is right there among all the other shops, and we have been part of this street for a very long time. It smells like the market outside—a mix of street food and dust—and we wouldn't have it any other way. Inside, we have our displays and the old wooden benches where people sit while we talk. The lighting isn't the best, but it gives the place a cozy feeling that you don't get in those modern malls. We deal with a lot of regular people from around Kosi Kalan who have been coming to us for years. Sometimes their kids come in too, and it is nice to see the families grow. We don't go in for fancy advertising or big sales events. We just open the shutters every morning and wait to see who stops by. There is a lot of history in these walls, and you can see it in the way the floor is worn down in certain spots. We spend our days weighing things out and having long conversations over tea. It is a slow pace of life compared to the big cities, but it suits the way we like to do business.
