Tera Impex Pvt. Ltd. is situated on Bhuteshwar Road. The office is right on the main stretch, so we see all the traffic going by throughout the day. It’s a busy road and sometimes the noise from the trucks makes it hard to hear on the phone, but you get used to it after a week or two. Our building is a bit older, with some cracks in the plaster near the ceiling that we keep meaning to fix. Inside, it’s mostly open space with a few partitions for the different desks. We have a lot of metal shelves lined up against the walls, filled with samples and old records that have been there since the company started. The lighting isn't the best, so we use desk lamps even during the day. We have a small staff of five people. Everyone knows their job, so we don't really need a lot of meetings or talk. We just get the orders ready and make sure the paperwork matches the boxes. The floor is made of old stone that stays cool even when the sun is beating down on the road outside. We usually keep the back door open to let a breeze in, even if it brings in a bit of dust. There’s a small temple nearby, and we can hear the bells ringing in the morning and evening, which is a nice way to start and end the day. It keeps the mood calm even when we are busy.
