Bhaskar Hospital

Bhaskar Hospital is situated right by Mandi Choraha, which is a very busy junction as anyone around here will tell you. We are tucked in near the Union Bank, so if you can find the bank, you’ve basically found us. Being at the Choraha means there’s always a lot of noise from the street, bikes zooming past and people shouting, but that’s just life in this part of town. Our building is a practical one. It doesn’t have those shiny glass walls you see in the city center, but it serves the purpose. We deal with a lot of walk-ins since we are in such a central spot. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to catch up on paperwork or clean the rooms again. We don't have a massive reception desk with five people sitting there; it’s usually just one or two of us handling everything from the phones to the files. It can get a bit chaotic when the market is in full swing nearby. We’ve seen all kinds of cases over the years, from small scrapes to people feeling under the weather. We just do what we can to help. It’s a plain, straightforward hospital where we know a lot of the regulars by their first names. We like it that way because it feels more like a community than a business. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
