If you’re ever near the railway station in Raya, you’ve probably walked right past Asad Clinic. We are set up right there in that busy part of town. Being so close to the station means there’s always a lot of noise and people moving about, but it makes it easy for folks coming in from the surrounding areas to find us. The clinic is a simple place. We don't have marble floors or a big reception desk with a dozen people. It’s usually just a couple of us here handling everything from the front door to the back room. Raya is a place where people appreciate things being straightforward, so that’s how we run the clinic. We deal with the usual coughs, fevers, and general health problems that come through the door every day. Sometimes people stop in because they’re just getting off a train and don't feel well. It’s an honest way to spend the day, helping out the locals and the travelers too. We keep our hours steady and our doors open for whoever needs a look. The railway station is the best landmark for us, and most people around Raya just use that to tell others where we are. It’s not a complicated operation, just a small clinic doing its part in a busy neighborhood. We like being right in the thick of things near the station. There's always something happening outside our door and we just keep on working.
