Archana Arts & Crafts

Our little shop, Archana Arts & Crafts, is over in Krishna Nagar at 31-Dwaraka Enclave. It is more of a home-based feel than a big corporate store. We have been making things here for a long time. The space is pretty packed with supplies, fabric, and whatever projects we are currently working on. It is often a bit of a mess, but we know where everything is. People in the neighborhood know us by name. We do not really do big marketing. Most of our items are made by hand, so they take a bit of time. We sit here and work on the designs, sometimes till late in the evening. Krishna Nagar is a quiet enough area, which helps when you need to focus on fine details. We have a few shelves where we put the finished crafts. It is not like a big mall store with bright lights. We just use what we have. Sometimes friends stop by for a chat while we work. It is a very local way of doing things. We handle the orders as they come in. There is no big warehouse or anything, just our workspace in the enclave. We like it this way because we can see every piece before it goes out. It is just a small business trying to keep traditional crafts alive without any fuss or fancy titles.
