M. R. C. Aarogyam

You can find M. R. C. Aarogyam inside the Annapurna Complex on Gurukul Road. We’ve been here for a bit, helping people who walk through the door looking for some help with their health. It’s a small space, nothing like those big hospitals you see in the city. We have a few rooms where we talk to folks and see what’s bothering them. The complex gets quite a lot of foot traffic, so we see people from all walks of life. Sometimes it’s just someone looking for a bit of advice on what to eat or how to feel better, and other times it’s more specific. We try to keep the atmosphere quiet, even though the street outside can be a bit loud during the day. We aren't big on flashy signs or big promises. We just sit down with you and figure things out. Most of the people who come to see us live nearby or go to the school down the road. It’s a regular part of the neighborhood now. We keep our own records, mostly by hand or on a simple computer, and we know many of our visitors by name. It’s just a few of us working here, trying to make the place feel comfortable for whoever needs to stop in. We like being on Gurukul Road; it feels like the right spot for what we do. It's just how we run things, without any fuss.
