Shubh Bricks

We are located out on Sampatchak Road, right in the Parsa Bazar area. Shubh Bricks is basically an outdoor operation where we spend most of our time dealing with mud, clay, and fire. It is not the cleanest job in the world, and our clothes are usually covered in dust by the end of the shift. The weather is our biggest boss. If it rains, everything has to stop, and we have to cover the bricks quickly before they get ruined. When it’s sunny, it’s a race to get them dried and into the kiln. We don't have a fancy office with leather chairs or air conditioning. Usually, we are just standing around the yard or sitting on a wooden bench talking to the truck drivers who come and go. The road out here isn't the smoothest, so we see a lot of bouncing trucks coming in to pick up loads for nearby building sites. It’s a tough way to make a living, but we’ve been doing it at this location for a good while now. We don't go around telling people we are the best or anything like that. The bricks speak for themselves. If they are solid and baked right, people come back for more. We just focus on the work at hand and try to keep the kilns burning steady through the night. Parsa Bazar is a decent place to work, even if it gets a bit lonely out on the road sometimes. We just keep stacking.
