Gumma'S Green Farms Private Limited

We operate out of Rayavar, under the care of Kondaiah at Markapur R 27. It’s a quiet area, and that suits us just fine. Gumma’S Green Farms is a small operation, mostly focused on the land right here in the mandal. We don't have a big staff or a fancy building with a glass front and air conditioning. It’s more of a place where you’ll find muddy boots and a lot of talk about the weather and the price of diesel. The reason we began this was because we wanted to keep the farming tradition going but in a way that made sense for us today. The work is physically demanding, and we’re usually pretty tired by the time the sun goes down. We handle everything from the initial planting to making sure the crops get where they need to go. There are days when the machinery gives us trouble or the rain doesn't show up when it's supposed to, but we just keep moving forward. It’s not a polished business by any means. We write things down in notebooks and keep track of things the old-fashioned way mostly. Being in Rayavar means we’re close to the fields and the people we’ve known our whole lives. We’re just trying to make the farm work and keep things running smoothly for everyone involved. It’s a simple life, and we’re happy to be doing it right here. Some days are hard, but we wouldn't know what else to do with ourselves.
