Morigaon Krishak Producer Company Limited

We are a group of farmers from the Morigaon area in Assam. Our company is based in a village called Nakhandia, which is part of the Charaibahi area. If you are looking for the main contact, it’s usually at Sri Sarudhan Nath’s place. We are under the Mikirbheta police station jurisdiction, just to give you an idea of where we are. We call ourselves the Morigaon Krishak Producer Company because that’s exactly what we are—a bunch of "krishaks" or farmers. We aren't doing anything fancy; we are just trying to pull our resources together so we can buy seeds and sell our harvests as a group. Village life is quiet but busy in its own way. There is always someone coming by to ask about the next meeting or to talk about how the rice or vegetables are doing this season. We don't have a lot of expensive equipment or a polished office. Most of our meetings happen on a porch or under a tree. It is honest, local work. We try to keep things simple and practical. Some days are harder than others, especially when the market prices drop, but having the company helps us stay a bit more stable. We are just a bunch of people from Nakhandia and the nearby villages trying to make sure our families can keep farming for years to come. It's just a way to look out for each other.
