If you’re looking for Peery Earth Movers, we are up on the third floor of Spna Plaza, Flat No. 8. It’s on A.D. Costa Road, right near the Alto Monte Building. Being on the third floor means we do a lot of stair-climbing since the lift isn't always reliable. Our office is where the planning happens, but the real action is out on the sites with the heavy machinery. We deal with earth-moving equipment, which is a tough and dirty business. The office is usually filled with the sound of phones ringing and people talking about engine parts or site schedules. It’s not a quiet, polished corporate environment. There are maps on the walls and usually a few pairs of dusty boots by the door. We spend our days making sure the machines are where they need to be and that they’re actually running. Repairs are a constant thing in this industry. Things break down, and we have to figure out how to fix them fast. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been around for a bit and people know where to find us. Dealing with big machines means dealing with big problems sometimes, but we just take it one day at a time. It’s a bit chaotic, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. It feels right to be right in the middle of all the noise.
