Nath Engineering

Nath Engineering sits at Plot No-689 in Udhyam Bagh. We are right near the Tata Motor plant on Goa Road, so it’s a busy spot with a lot of heavy vehicles and noise passing by all day. Our workshop is a large, open space that gets a good breeze when we open both the front and back doors in the morning. We’ve been here for several years now, and the shop has become a second home to most of us who work here. The work is steady and involves a lot of precision, even if the surroundings look a bit rough to an outsider. We have stacks of heavy components waiting to be machined and the floor is usually covered in metal shavings by the time we hit lunchtime. We spend our days mostly bent over our machines or checking specs with our tools. It can be tiring on the eyes and the hands, but there is a good feeling in finishing a piece. Being on Goa Road means we get people stopping by all the time asking for quick repairs on their trucks or tools. We try to help out when we can, even if we are busy with a bigger project for a regular customer. It’s a friendly enough place, even with all the noise and the dirt on our clothes. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. We just let the work speak for itself. It’s just us, our tools, and the metal.
