Our spot is right in G 1 of the Saraswati Housing Society. If you know the Yeshwant Nagar area in Ponda, you probably passed by us already at some point. It is a quiet enough neighborhood for the most part, which we appreciate. Goa has its own slow pace and we definitely feel that here when we are working. The building is a bit older but it serves its purpose for what we need every day. We spend most of our time inside these walls dealing with the usual paperwork and answering calls. There is a bit of a garden area nearby which is nice for a quick breath of air during our lunch break. Being on the ground floor makes it easy to get in and out without dealing with lifts or too many stairs. We have a few desks and some basic equipment set up for the daily grind. It isn't a massive place, but it works well for the team. Sometimes the humidity really gets to you, but that is just how it is living in this part of the country. We don't really do much besides the work itself. Most of the people around here are neighbors who have lived in the society for many years. It feels like a lived-in place, not some sterile corporate park. We just show up, do the hours, and head out. Ponda is a good middle ground between the coast and the inland parts. That is what it is like at Crompton Greaves Limited in this branch.
