City Hardwares

We are located at City Hardwares in the Carvalhos Appartments building. It’s Shop Number 4 and we’re right near Damodar High School. Because the school is so close we see a lot of kids walking past every morning and afternoon. Sometimes their parents stop in to pick up a few nails or a lightbulb on their way home. The shop isn't very big but we’ve managed to cram a lot of stuff onto the shelves. If you need a specific type of bolt or a certain screwdriver we probably have it buried somewhere in the back. I spend a lot of my time climbing ladders to reach the top shelves. The floor is concrete and it gets a bit cold in the winter months. We don't have a big staff just me and a couple of helpers who have been with us for a while. We know most of our regular customers by their first names and we know what kind of projects they’re working on at home. It’s nice to be a part of the local community like this. We don't do any big advertising we just keep the door open and wait for people to come in with their problems. Usually we can find a way to fix whatever is broken. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. Most days are just about helping neighbors find the right tool for their Sunday repairs.
