We’re based out in Keelakaranai Village, which is part of the Maraimalai Nagar area. Our mailing address is under the Malrosaporam Post. The facility is quite large since we work on automotive systems. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but it’s quieter out here. We have a lot of different sections for the various parts we handle. The floor is usually busy with people moving around and checking on the assembly lines. We have a regular routine of shifts that keep the place running through the day and night. The office area is just a block attached to the main plant where the administrative stuff happens. It’s mostly desks, computers, and a lot of technical drawings pinned to the walls. We spend a lot of time looking at data and making sure the machines are doing what they should. It gets pretty hot in the summer months, but we have fans and vents to help. Most of the people here have been working with cars and parts for their whole careers. We aren't into fancy presentations; we just focus on the technical side of things. There’s a small canteen where we all grab lunch and talk about the day’s work. It’s a practical environment where everything has its place. We’ve been in this village for a good while and it’s become our second home. It’s just a place where we put in the hours and get the parts built.
