You can find Sawant Trading & Exports Pvt. Ltd. at B/310 in the Saldanha Business Tower. We are right near the Court, so the area is always full of lawyers and people in suits. Our office is a bit different from theirs, though. Instead of law books, we have ledgers and export logs. The building is a typical business tower, with people constantly going up and down the elevators. We have been in B/310 for a good few years now. The space is filled with the sound of keyboards clicking and the printer running. We do a lot of trading work, which means we are always on the phone or sending emails. It is not the biggest office, but we have enough room for our desks and a small area for storing files. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the traffic from the court nearby, but we just shut the windows and keep working. We do not have any big mission statements on the wall, just a calendar and some notes tacked up with tape. We try to stay organized, but during the busy season, there are papers everywhere. It is just the reality of the trade. We take our lunch breaks at different times so someone is always there to answer the phone. It is a steady kind of work, and we have gotten pretty good at the rhythm of it over the years.
