Raj Traders

We run Raj Traders out of Annapurna Niwas, which is located in the Vidyanagar area of Khorlim. Our building is right near Saraswat Vidyalaya, so we are very used to the sound of school children playing and the bells ringing throughout the day. It’s not a big corporate office; it’s more like a regular house that we’ve converted into a workspace. We have a couple of rooms packed with our stock and a small corner where we keep our desk and the phone. It’s a very local way of doing things, and we don’t really have any big plans to change it. Most of our customers are people from around Khorlim who have known us for years. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy websites because word of mouth has always been enough for us. There is usually a stray dog or cat lounging near the entrance, and we often stop to talk to the neighbors as they pass by. Our schedule isn't very strict. We open up in the morning and stay until we’ve finished whatever needs to be done that day. It’s a quiet and simple life, without any of the stress of a big city office. We know the people here, and they know us, which makes the work feel a lot more personal. We just provide what’s needed and keep things honest and straightforward at Annapurna Niwas.
