Joshi Traders

We are located in Angod, specifically at No 1 in the Joshi Building. It’s easy to find because the building is named after the family. Joshi Traders is where we spend most of our time. It’s a practical space, nothing too fancy. We handle all sorts of trading goods. Every morning starts with opening the shutters and sweeping the front. Being in Angod is good because it’s a quiet area but still easy for people to reach. We’ve got a lot of history in this building. My grandfather started things off, and we’ve just kept it going. The walls have some cracks and the paint is peeling in spots, but it feels like home to us. We don’t spend much on advertising. Most of our regulars have been coming here for years. They know us and we know them. We talk about the weather or the local news while we work. It’s not just about the business; it’s about the people. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit mixed up, so we have to spend a weekend sorting through the crates. It’s honest work. We don't use fancy computers for everything; sometimes a notebook and a pen are better for keeping track of things. We just try to be helpful to whoever walks in. It’s a steady life here at the Joshi Building, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
