Ferns Automobiles

Morjim is a busy place, especially with all the people coming and going near the Milagris Church. That’s where you’ll find Ferns Automobiles. It’s not a big, shiny showroom or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where we get our hands dirty every day. The floor is stained with oil and there’s usually a couple of bikes or cars parked outside waiting for their turn. We spend a lot of time under hoods or checking tires. Some days are hotter than others, and the fans inside don't do much, but we keep working through it. We’ve been here for a bit now, and most of the locals know us by name. They drop off their keys and head over to the church or the shops nearby while we figure out what’s wrong with their engine. It can get pretty loud with the tools running, but it’s the sound of work getting done. We don't have a fancy waiting room, just a couple of old chairs if someone wants to sit for a minute. Sometimes tourists get stuck with a flat or a breakdown and wander in looking a bit lost. We help them out too, just like anyone else. It’s a simple life running a garage in this part of town. We just open up in the morning, do the repairs, and head home when the sun goes down. It's just what we do.
