Himalayan Organics Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our office is down on Gadwal Road in Maldakal. The exact number is 1-9-28. We work with a lot of farmers from around this region. Since we are a producer company, there is always someone coming in with questions about their crops or paperwork. It can get pretty crowded in the small office area during the harvest times. We have some wooden desks and a lot of files piled up. It is not a corporate setup with glass walls or anything like that. We are just local people trying to handle the organic side of things for the growers here. Being in Maldakal means we are right in the middle of the farming community, which helps. You can find us easily if you just look for the 1-9-28 sign on Gadwal Road. Sometimes the internet is slow so we spend time talking to the farmers instead of staring at screens. We handle the seeds and the collections and whatever else the group needs. It is a lot of back-and-forth work. We don't have a fancy lobby. Just a place to sit and talk about the fields. We’ve been at this for a bit now and the routine is pretty set. We just try to be useful to the people who are actually out there growing the food. There is always something new to learn about the soil or the weather from the people who stop by.
