Thulasi Road Works

Down at Sy No 92 93 in Eklaspur, you’ll find Thulasi Road Works. We aren't always in the office because most of our work happens out on the actual roads. We have some heavy equipment like rollers and mixers that we keep parked on the lot when they aren't in use. The yard is mostly dirt and gravel, which makes sense for what we do. Eklaspur is a good home base for us. When we are here, we are usually fixing a machine or getting materials ready for the next job. It’s a rough and tumble kind of business. The sun is hot, and the tar is sticky, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We don't have a big staff, just a crew of people who aren't afraid of a long day of physical labor. Our building is just a place to keep the tools and do a bit of the planning for the next project. We don't spend money on marketing or anything like that. Word usually gets around about where we are and what we do. If the gate is open, someone is usually around to talk. It’s honest work, even if it’s exhausting. We take pride in seeing a road finished, but we don't talk about it much. We just move on to the next section that needs fixing. It’s about getting the job done before the rain starts or the day ends and making it home for dinner.
