Tulsi Engineering

Our workshop, Tulsi Engineering, is located in Kukarwada. This is part of the Mansa Taluka, and it’s a fairly quiet area compared to the big cities. We handle a lot of metalwork and repair jobs for the people in the surrounding villages. It’s not a massive factory; it’s just a place with some lathes, welding machines, and a lot of scrap metal lying around. We spend most of our time in greasy overalls. The work is heavy and sometimes dangerous if you don’t pay attention. We don’t have an office staff, so if you call, you’ll probably hear the machines running in the background. We do a bit of everything, from fixing farm equipment to making small parts for local builders. It’s a bit of a drive to get parts from the main district, so we have to plan our weeks carefully. Sometimes we get stuck on a problem for hours, just staring at a piece of machinery until we figure out why it won't turn. The roof leaks a little when it rains hard, but we just move the equipment out of the way. It’s practical, no-nonsense work. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are in Kukarwada and come by when they need something made or fixed. We usually have a radio playing somewhere in the back to keep us company during the long afternoons while we work through the jobs.
