Shamura Polytech

We've been at Plot No. 65 in the Ranasan GIDC for a while now. It’s right on the Mahudi Highway Road, so the trucks are always passing by and it gets pretty loud during the day. Most people know us because we’re near Ashram Chokdi, which is a busy little spot. Working in a polytech business means a lot of hands-on stuff. It isn’t fancy here. We spend most of our mornings just getting the machines ready and checking the stock we have in the back. Sometimes the heat in the shed gets to be a bit much in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is in this part of Gujarat. We started this because there was a need for local supplies in this industrial belt. It’s mostly just us and a few workers trying to keep up with the orders that come in. Most of the people who drop by are just local guys from the other units in the GIDC looking for parts or advice. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find me at the desk or out back checking on the latest batch. It’s a simple life, really. We make sure the gates are open early and we stay until the work is finished. The highway road stays busy until late, so there is always someone around. We just try to do the work right and keep things moving.
