S Chetan Singh Sarvhitkari Senior Secondary Vidhyamandir is located in Mansa, specifically in the 151505 area. We’ve been part of this community for a long time now. It’s a senior secondary school, so we get to see kids grow up from little ones into young adults before they head off to college. The campus is simple and functional, nothing over the top. We have the usual classrooms, a playground that gets a bit muddy when it rains heavily, and some old trees that give really good shade in the hot afternoons. People in Mansa know us as a place where things are done the old-fashioned way. We don’t have any of those high-tech gadgets you see in the big city schools. We just use blackboards, chalk, and paper books. The teachers here have been around for years, and they know most of the families by name, which is nice. Morning assembly is usually when the whole school gathers together in the courtyard. It can get a bit loud, but it’s a good kind of noise to start the day. We focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure everyone passes their exams. Sometimes the electricity goes out during the day, and we just open the windows wide for some fresh air. It’s a very normal school life for everyone involved. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just want the kids here in Mansa to have a decent place to learn and get their certificates. Every year, a new batch leaves and a new one comes in.
