Our shop is number 186 in the Old Grain Market of Mansa. We are located quite close to the Gurudwara Chowk, so it’s easy for people to find us when they are in town. We deal with various chemicals and supplies for the local industry. The shop is filled with drums and containers of all sizes. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the stock we keep. The street outside is usually busy with people coming from Bhatinda or the surrounding villages. We spend a lot of our time checking labels and organizing deliveries. It’s not a fancy place, just a working shop with a couple of desks for the paperwork. The air has a faint chemical smell, but we don't really notice it anymore. We’ve been operating out of this market for years. Usually, we are just talking to customers or loading up a truck in the back. It’s a very local business, and we know many of the traders nearby. We don't use a lot of complicated technology; a pen and a ledger often do the trick. The Gurudwara nearby is a good landmark for anyone visiting for the first time. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come in. It’s a steady way to spend the day in Mansa. We’ve got a good system for how we store everything.
