Vishwakarma Agricultural Works

If you head down Vijapur Road, you will find us right across from Ambica Nagar Society 1. We have been working out of this spot for quite a while now. The noise from the machines can be a bit much if you aren't used to it, but it's just the sound of work getting done. At Vishwakarma Agricultural Works, we mostly have our heads down looking at metal or parts. It’s a dusty place and there is always oil on the floor somewhere. We started small and things just grew as more people from around Gandhinagar found out we were here. We don't have a big front desk or anyone to greet you in a suit. You usually have to look around for one of us in the back. The tools are old but they still do the job fine. Sometimes we run late on orders because a machine breaks or the power goes out, which happens more than we'd like. It’s just how things go. We keep a few spare parts lying around in heaps. The shed gets hot in the summer months so we keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze comes off the road. It isn't a clean place, but we know where everything is. Most of the guys have been here for years and we just do what needs doing to keep the farmers moving. It is simple, hard work and that is enough for us.
