If you go toward Kalipurboha Road near the Ganesh Rice Mills you will find us. We are Budhlada Farmer Producer Company Limited and our setup is pretty basic. Being so close to the rice mills means there is always some activity happening nearby. You can hear the machinery sometimes and there is often dust in the air when the trucks go by. Our office isn't anything special to look at but it serves its purpose for the group. We are a bunch of local people who decided to work together on the farming side of things. Most days are spent talking about prices or checking on what the members need for their land. It is a lot of paperwork and phone calls throughout the morning. We usually have tea together in the afternoon when the sun is high. It is a bit of a walk from the main town center but people managed to find us anyway. The village vibe is strong here and we like it that way. No one wears suits or acts like they are in a big city corporation. We just sit on regular chairs and talk about the earth and the crops. It is steady work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes even Sundays if there is a lot to catch up on before the next week starts. We just do our best to stay organized and keep the local farming community connected through our daily efforts in Kalipurboha.
