Jayasri Exporters Thirumakkottai

We run Jayasri Exporters Thirumakkottai right on the Main Road. Since we are near the post office, it makes it easy for people to find us. We've been here in this part of Thirumakkottai for a good while. The business is focused on exporting local products. We have a modest setup where we do all the sorting and packing. It’s usually just a few local guys helping out. We don't have a website or anything like that; we mostly just talk to people on the phone or in person. The office is a bit small, and during the rainy season, the roof leaks a little in the corner, but we just put a bucket there and keep working. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a sleek look. We just want to make sure the crates are packed well so nothing breaks during transit. A lot of our day involves talking to farmers or small producers in the area to see what's available. Then we have to figure out the best way to get those items to where they need to go. It involves a lot of waiting for trucks to show up. Sometimes the drivers get lost even though we are on the main road. We just laugh it off and get back to work. It’s a straightforward business, and we like the community here. We just do our best to get the job done.
