About Symphony Electronics – Electronics in Manjeri
You can find us in the Bus Stand Building at the old bus stand in Manjeri. It’s a busy area with buses pulling in and out constantly. The diesel fumes and the shouting of the conductors are just part of the background here. We have a small shop filled with all sorts of electronic bits. There are old TVs sitting in the corner waiting for parts, and shelves with newer stuff too. We do a lot of repairs, mostly things like remote controls or sound systems that have stopped working. It’s a bit cramped inside because we keep so many spare components. You have to watch your step so you don’t trip over a wire or a box. People from the surrounding villages often stop by when they come to town for the market. They bring in their radios or kitchen gadgets for us to look at. We have a small workbench in the back with a soldering iron that stays on most of the day. The lighting isn't the best, but we have a few desk lamps to help us see the small circuits. We’ve been in this building for quite a while, and we know most of the other shopkeepers around. It’s a good community. We don’t do anything high-tech, just fixing what is broken and selling what people need for their homes. It keeps us busy enough from morning until the last bus leaves the stand in the evening.
