Sona Pet Industries

If you’re traveling down Elemkur Road, you’ll find Sona Pet Industries near the Thrikkalangode post office. Our specific plot is T. G. P-1/ 322-s. We’ve been here for a while now, working with PET plastics. It’s mostly about taking raw plastic and turning it into bottles or containers for various uses. The heat from the molding machines can get quite intense during the day. We keep the big doors wide open to let the air circulate. It’s a very practical environment. We don't wear suits or have formal meetings. Most of our time is spent on the floor, making sure the production line is running smooth. We had a tough time getting all the equipment set up at the beginning. It took a lot of trial and error to get things right. Now we have a steady routine. The local businesses around Thrikkalangode use our containers for their products. It’s nice to see our work being used in the nearby shops. We have a few guys from the neighborhood who help us out. We aren't trying to be some giant industry leader. We just want to run a reliable shop and pay our bills. Sometimes things break down and we have to spend the night fixing a motor. That’s just the way it goes when you’re running a small plant like this. We take pride in just getting the job done without any fuss or complicated plans.
